Welcome to Nebraska CFI

My name is Mark Langrud and I am a FAA Gold Seal certified flight instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI/IGI) and commercial pilot based in Lincoln, NE and Broken Bow, NE. I created this website to promote general aviation in Nebraska and my instructing services. I instruct primarily at the Lincoln Municipal Airport through MPP Aviation. MPP Aviation has two airplanes available that you may rent: a Cherokee 140 (N8619E) and a Cherokee 180 (N8838J). You may rent these airplanes for your training, as well as for personal use. I am also available to come to your airport and instruct in your airplane. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Flight Training Programs

	Program	Info
1	Private Pilot	A private pilot is one who flies for pleasure or personal business without accepting compensation for flying. It allows the pilot to take command of any aircraft for any noncommercial purpose and gives almost unlimited authority to fly VFR.
2	Instrument Rating	An instrument rated pilot will be able to fly in marginal visual or instrument meteorological conditions (low visibility and/or clouds). The instrument rating provides more flexibility for a flight that otherwise would be affected by imperfect weather.
3	Commercial Pilot	A commercial pilot may be compensated for flying. Training focuses on a better understanding of aircraft systems and a higher standard of airmanship.
